Todd Wallaremail
Film Composer and Sound Designer

Bio

Todd began his musical career with Suzuki violin lessons at the tender age of 7. Once he reached adolescence, Todd embraced his dreams of becoming a rock star and switched to the electric guitar. More than a teenage guitar hack, Todd’s musical interests expanded to include classical, jazz, and bluegrass. He performed in rock and jazz bands in high school and college and also studied classical guitar. Todd formalized his music education by studying music composition at Carleton College in Northfield, MN. After graduation, he took a position as a Software Engineer developing educational music software.

His experience with computers and music sparked an interest in electronic music composition. After learning more about emerging music composition technologies, he first began to stitch together samples and sequences, eventually composing original pieces as the band Omniverse. His credits include several compilation CD projects, music for independent short films and the feature film, The Matrix Revisited. In 2003, he graduated from The Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program in Seattle. Lately, he's been playing guitar, laptop, and writing songs for with his new band, Lucy Bland.
